I am currently the Elizabeth and Vernon Puzey Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Earth Sciences, University of Melbourne. Prior to this I was a NASA Astrobiology Institute postdoctoral scholar at Yale University. My research concerns improving our understanding of Precambrian marine environments and the evolution of the early earth. To do this I integrate sedimentology, stratigraphy and geochemistry in both field and lab work.
I completed my undergraduate B.Sc. (Hons) from 2006-2009 and Ph.D. from 2010 to 2014 at the University of Melbourne, Australia. My first post doctoral position, Precambrian Research Fellow was in the School of Earth Sciences, at the University of Melbourne in 2014. I have been at Yale University since 2015 in the Department of Geology and Geophysics as a Postdoctoral Fellow, funded as an American-Australian Association Chevron Fellow, then as NAI Postdoctoral Fellow.
